Quick overview

Use the current targeted-loot category, then check projects, vendors, and blueprint rewards for mod sources. Keep a mod only when its value supports the build slot you are actually using.

Detailed route

What to do, step by step

Use this order when you are in-game. It expands the overview with the checks and choices that keep the route on track.

  1. Decide whether you need an offensive, defensive, or utility gear mod before farming.
  2. Check the map and Summit or Countdown targeting for the relevant mod category.
  3. Read project and vendor rewards because a blueprint or direct mod can be faster than random drops.
  4. Compare the mod's value with the slot's goal instead of keeping every near-duplicate.
  5. Move future-use mods to the stash and deconstruct weak extras when you need materials.

Key details

Before you commit

  • Mod pools and values can change with title updates; compare the current item details.
  • A higher number is not automatically better if it does not match the build's damage, survivability, or skill loop.
